About the Artist
Meet Kaylia aka PickFairy,
Yellow folks! I'm Kaylia, the artist behind PickFairy. There's a few of you that just know me as "Pick" and even my partner nicknamed that to me as well. I'm fine with either!
As I enter 2026, I want to explore more avenues for my shop by making more stickers and making more prints. If you click "Shop" in the corner there, a selection of both will be available and placing an order does help my small business grow. But what is my business?
I'm an independent artist where I do NOT use AI for my artwork, I draw digitally and traditionally! I graduated from college back in 2016 with a degree in Graphic Design YET I pursue Illustration to create beautiful and creative works of artwork. Not only do I draw, I also sometimes livestream on Twitch different games with friends (and the forementioned artwork ;3) Artwork Streams and Gaming streams are aplenty over on my Twitch under "PickFairy".
Each year the art events I've consistently participated in have been Art Fight (which happens every July) and Linktober (which happens in October) These events are featured in "Portfolio" for 2024 and 2025. This year will be no different, and I look forward to both events once the time comes.
This year my goal is to expand my sticker gallery to have even more than last year, have more professional prints for fandoms and shows alike, and to try to create a children's book! Not only do I enjoy gaming on Twitch, but I also enjoy the simple things. A hot fresh cup of tea with a bit of honey, or curling up inside listening to the rain outside. I'm the type of person that has a habit to compliment people. If I think your shirt looks nice or your hair suits you, I immediately call out that thought. I can be a bit implusive, and sometimes clumsy. There are times I might not recognize some people sometimes, my face recognition isn't the very best. Other times, even if you're a stranger, I might greet you with "Good morning!" because I believe in kindness. It's good to smile to others to try and spread that kindess :3
My favorite drink is Taro Bubble Tea <3
My favorite color is the color Grey (yes that counts)
My favorite berry is da blackberry~
I enjoy journaling each day down in my journal on Spirit City Lofi Sessions on Steam~ I'm already lvl 120+ in that game because of it, hehe. I enjoy farming sim games like Fields of Mistria and Stardew. I am an avid Zelda fan, hence why I draw Linktober each year.
I wish for 2026 to be a year of growth, I hope maybe to expand my business to more people and more friends on Twitch as well! Thanks for reading more about me and I hope you enjoyed this little summary~
